An amazing book. Nothing like reading about Siberian prisoners and epic cross continental journeys to make me appreciate the comforts of a Western lifestyle and the tenacity of the human spirit.
There is some controversy surrounding this story. Did it really happen? Is it too fanciful? But, I believe it. Because I believe in the unknowable, the mystery and the possibility.
