General thoughts on ultra running
Six, seven, eight, 18, 24 hours might seem like a long time to do something.
But when I think about the million things I do in an 8 to 9-hour work day, it is refreshing to think that for the next few hours, the equivalent to half a day of work, a full day, a long Saturday of chores, social activities and responsibilities, all I have to do is run.
This can be incredibly freeing. Because in that moment, I just run. Sometimes that is easier than my normal life of crazy, multitasking, accomplishing, get-it-done-zone SOP.
And, it’s therapeutic. I like my time to think and talk to my dad.
