April ‘87. Jennifer taking a message.
I guess you could say I knew what I wanted to do at a young age.
I’ve been playing office ever since.
Today.
Now we can understand Schopenhauer when he said that mankind was apparently doomed to vacillate eternally between the two extremes of distress and boredom.
Viktor Emil Frankl / Man’s Search for Meaning
Very true. I find that I am usually vacillating between these two states.
My new, favorite, most comfortable, mint pants / RIP Spring 2012 - Spring 2012
This has not been my week two weeks for stains. I’ve ruined everything I’ve worn. Does anyone else have this problem?
I had on another pair of new pants today, which now are mud-stained (not ruined, thank goodness) courtesy of Fritz running up to greet me after a dig in the backyard trench (oh, the home-ownership projects never cease!)
Thinking of maybe tie-dying the pants to camouflage the stain for a mint & white printed jean look…
Goal for 2012 that can mean more than just epic adventures. Go to a new restaurant or venue, go to a new part of town, drive through a small town that you’ve never explored on the way to somewhere else, go to a deeper place mentally, physically, spiritually. Near or far, there are always things to discover.
